- Claire Brindis was interviewed by the NPR affiliate in Seattle about the Institute of Medicine's report, Clinical Preventive Services for Women: Closing the Gaps, identifying eight preventive services for women that health plans should cover without requiring co-payment.
- KTVU-TV featured Tracey Woodruff in last night's segment about the negative reproductive health effects of glycol ethers. The EPA is considering restricting the chemicals' use in manufacturing.
- Deborah Grady's editorial accompanying a study in Archives of Internal Medicine drew interest from several media outlets. The study shows that soy tablets don't help with menopausal symptoms. Deborah was quoted in a HealthDay article that was picked up by MSN, I Village and USA Today. She also was quoted on MedPage Today, ABC News, ScienceDaily, Time online, and WebMD News.
- The Lodi News-Sentinel profiled I-Spy 2 and five women in the trial. In addition, the paper included a sidebar describing the project plus an interview with Jo Chien.
