New Generation Health Center (or "New Gen") is a clinic of the University of California at San Francisco's Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. With a goal to decrease the number of unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections among high risk youth in San Francisco, New Gen employs a comprehensive model of care. This includes providing high quality, youth-friendly reproductive health care and educating community youth about the risks of teen pregnancy and STD transmission.

Young Women's Clinic

The Young Women's Program provides confidential health services to any woman up to 21 years of age. We also welcome participation from partners, friends, and family members. Our providers are Nurse Practitioners and Physicians who specialize in women's health and pregnancy care. A nutritionist and social worker are also available to every client. Deliveries are at the UCSF Birth Center.

Helps women conceive using the latest reproductive technology as well as treats reproductive endocrine disorders. Women and their partners meet with a multidisciplinary team of reproductive endocrinologists, reproductive urologists, psychologists and genetic counselors. The center achieves consistently high pregnancy rates.

Fertility Preservation Center for Patients with Cancer

Increasingly, patients with cancer are surviving their disease and are faced with significant challenges regarding quality of life. One significant aspect of survivability is the strong desire of patients to have a genetic family. At UCSF, we have developed a multi-disciplinary team to move this field of clinical forward. The depth and breadth of the Center for Reproductive Health (CRH), staffed by reproductive endocrinologists, urologists, psychologists, and genetic counselors, forms the foundation of our program.

Multidisciplinary Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Clinic (PCOS)

Offers an integrated approach to treating polycystic ovarian syndrome. A team of specialists in reproductive endocrinology, dermatology, nutrition, exercise physiology, psychology and genetics work together with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan. The center also offers support and educational group information.

Gynecology

Comprehensive Fibroid Center

Serves women with uterine fibroids by expanding the treatment options for this common gynecologic problem. Integrating the expertise of gynecology and interventional radiology offers women minimally-invasive and non-surgical treatment options, including uterine artery embolization (UAE), a non-surgical technique for symptomatic fibroids.

The UCSF Women's Option Center provides comprehensive and expert care for women seeking elective termination of pregnancy or termination due to fetal or maternal health conditions. WOC is integrated into the Women's Health practice and provides care in a supportive and respectful setting.

Pelvic Pain Specialty Clinic

Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of chronic pelvic pain by evaluating the gynecologic, urinary, gastrointestinal and neuropathic conditions that affect pain. Treatment also incorporates the impact of pain on emotional well-being, relationships and sexual health.

The SFGH Women's Options Center prides itself on providing high-quality, evidence-based and comprehensive abortion and family planning services. The WOC is known for its ability and expertise in serving high-risk and medically complicated patients. We are also proud to offer several long-term reversible contraceptive methods that patients can choose on the day of their procedure.

Women’s Continence Center

Serves the needs of women with urinary and fecal incontinence, urethral or bladder dysfunction and pelvic support problems. The center incorporates physicians from gynecology, urology and colorectal surgery to offer a range of medical, surgical and behavioral therapies. Social and emotional support is also provided, as is advanced diagnostic testing and the Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Program.

An alternative birth center committed to safe, comfortable, family-centered births. Labor, delivery, and recovery are experienced in the same room, many offering spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay. Providers include obstetricians, family practice physicians, certified nurse midwives, and nurse practitioners. Fetal Treatment Center

Offers efficient, coordinated care to benefit the fetus and guard the safety of the mother and her reproductive potential. Experts in ultrasonography, genetics, pregnancy medicine and newborn medicine provide pioneering, innovative procedures for complex conditions in babies before and after birth.

Obstetric Services and Perinatology

Includes physicians and nurse midwives providing obstetrical prenatal care and support for well pregnancy care. We also serve women from across the country and the world who seek expert care at our Center for Mothers and Newborns. Our perinatologists - obstetricians with special training in high-risk pregnancy care - work to minimize complications and achieve the healthiest pregnancy possible. Our team of doctors, nurses and support staff coordinate all aspects of care from diagnosis through delivery and long-term follow-up. All Obstetrical patients deliver at the UCSF Center for Mothers and Newborns.
