On May 12, 2012, the Nurse-Midwives of San Francisco General Hospital (part of the SFGH Division of UCSF Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences) were honored by the Homeless Prenatal Program, a renowned San Francisco social services agency that is a partner for us in our CenteringPregnancy model of prenatal care.
Here's the commendation from HPP:
HPP honors longtime partners, the Nurse-Midwives of San Francisco General Hospital, who provide compassionate, on-site prenatal care to our client families. The Midwives are committed to promoting wellness and addressing the physical, cultural and emotional needs of each woman. Through the CenteringPregnancy group care model they work collaboratively with HPP staff to provide medical services in an environment that supports each woman's journey from pregnancy to parenting.
